Interactive bar project is a project that can turn any surface into a touchscreen. Based on a wide angle projector, IR camera & IR emiter and a custom software.
A group of LAB logos were floating on a bar surface each with it’s own physics and everytime it met a physical object such as a glass or a hand it bounced away. Due to a big amount of people useing a bar at the same time we were able to test our programme in a rough enviroment and make it work efficiently.
We’ve been playing with the concept for a while creating an ‘interactive wall ad’ a regular wall which was revealing an ad everytime somebody passed by. We’ve also upgraded our interactive bar, makeing it faster and more efficient, as well as changing the physics of our objects – this time they were falling down the bar randomly and bounce away from physical objects (hands, glasses etc.)
