For New Year’s Eve at the Projekt LAB club we turned the bar top into a touchscreen. A wide-angle projector, an IR camera and emitter, and our own software can make any surface interactive.
PHYSICS ON THE BAR
LAB logos floated across the bar, each with its own physics, bouncing off glasses and hands. Hundreds of guests at the bar at once made it the best stress test we could ask for. The 2015 version was faster and lighter, with objects falling down the bar. The same technology later powered an “interactive wall ad” that revealed itself when someone walked past.
