ABOUT

The interactive model of the Volkswagen plant in Września presents the site's urban layout. It serves as a calling card for the place — a visitor's first encounter with the plant before they even set foot on site. The model's job is to show guests what awaits them on the tour: which zones, halls and buildings they'll see along the route, and in what order.

It's a modern take on the classic architectural model. Static, minimalist forms set in motion — pure form conveys the scale and logic of the plant, while movement brings the model to life, guiding the visitor's eye and building the narrative of the whole presentation.

A GUIDE THROUGH THE FACTORY

The model is led by the brand's hero — a VW car. It moves between the different areas of the plant, stopping at each point on the route and, in a natural, instantly recognisable way, narrating the tour before visitors even set off on it themselves

SHEEP ON SITE

Sheep graze on the factory grounds — part of Volkswagen's commitment to sustainability. This same surprising detail also appears on the model, tying its informational role to an authentic slice of life at the plant, and underlining that care for the environment is woven into the landscape here just as much as the production halls are.
